hedges, along with all sorts of landscape work.
Low-maintenance landscape design using well-tested
permaculture principles.
The emphasis is on getting the best-of-all-worlds:
Strong-growing plants that will out-compete the weeds
Edible plants that look nice, too
Hedges that have flowers and berries
I'm always criticising garden-makeover programmes:
if the people couldn't manage the garden they had before,
they will never maintain their fancy new plants and decking and water-features.
Better to do it all in managable stages.
